Mumbai in times of Corona Virus pandemic as never seen in decades

Glimpses of the Mumbai city once working 24 x 7 now at rest .

The only city in India that is known as ( the city which never sleeps ) ‘ MUMBAI ‘ is now in deep slumber .Under Lock down for almost forty days everything is at stand still , from Airports to Railway stations , Schools , Colleges , Malls , Theaters , Markets etc. are all closed and people are staying at home to stay safe from Corona Virus .

Glimpses of the Mumbai city once working 24 x 7 now at rest , perhaps it is the first ever time in decades that the life line of  Mumbai both Western & Central Railway transporting millions of travelers to their work places and back home from one end of the city to the other is non operative for days , even the Domestic and International Airport Terminals tarmac is breathing easy as no rubber is burnt day and night on the same .

Some important locations of Mumbai , once forever crowded are now looking like none existed here and looking at the pictures it gives dual feeling , as to how these places looked then , with all the activities in full bloom and now the pictures make you feel when the good old days will come back .

In the midst of all this the Nature is breathing easy , as there is no pollution since hardly any vehicles ply on the roads , this has given nature a chance to be in full bloom this spring , one can clearly hear the birds chirping around while , the summer is at peak one can still feel the cool breeze passing off , the parks are showing their finery with all the flowers lying around after falling off from the trees , the famous National Park at Borivli Mumbai in full bloom .
