We had published the news in July , 2016 India’s Second Green International Airport To Become Operational In Vadodara. Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will be inaugurating the Airport on 22nd October 2016 , the total cost for building the airport is Rs. 130 crore , the construction had started in May 2011.
The Airport is constructed on total area of 17,500 Sq.Ft. , it will have 18 check-in-counters the airport is also fitted with the latest Fire Fighting system at the cost of Rs. 3 crore . This is the Gujarat’s first and country’s second ‘green’ airport after Chandigarh’s terminal.
