Ingredients:

  • Mutton or Beef Mince –½ Kilogram (washed and drained)
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 teaspoon
  • Potato – 1 medium large (peeled and roughly chopped)
  • Salt – to taste
  • Turmeric powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Red chilli powder – 1 teaspoon
  • Garam Masala powder – ¼ teaspoon
  • Green Chilli – 2-3 nos.
  • Coriander leaves – ¼ cup
  • Bread crumb – optional

Method:

In a pot add the washed and drained mince along with the ginger garlic paste, salt and potatoes. Cook until the mince and potatoes are cooked and the water from it is completely evaporated. DO NOT add any additional water to it. Once done let it cool. In a food processor grind the cooked mince mixture with all the rest ingredients until it forms dough like consistency. At this point if the mixture is wet or loose add some bread crumbs to bind it. Shape the kababs and keep in the freezer for ½ an hour. Remove just before frying. Shallow fry the kababs in oil until brown, on one side and then on the other. Do not turn frequently. Serve hot with green chutney and lemon.
