AJAY AND KAJOL VISIT FACEBOOK AND GOOGLE HEADQUARTERS IN CALIFORNIA!
Kajol has finally joined Facebook. Ajay and Kajol, who are currently in the US to promote Devgn’s next directorial venture Shivaay, visited New York, Chicago, Dallas and San Francisco where they visited the Facebook office. While on their visit to the US for the promotions of Shivaay, the Devgns made a stopover in the San Francisco Bay Area (California) and visited the Headquarters of Google and Facebook. Being a gadget freak himself and given the advanced use of technology in his upcoming movie Shivaay, Ajay was really looking forward to these visits! Ajay and Kajol were given a tour of the Google and Facebook offices. At the Facebook office, they were also given a demo of the really cool oculus device (virtual reality headset). Kajol picked this day also because it was her mother, Tanuja’s birthday.The two interacted with the employees over Q&A at the town hall where they were asked questions on how they strike a balance between personal and professional lives, on their film Shivaay amongst few others. .On this shirt trip to the US, they visited New York, Dallas, Chicago and San Francisco for promotions.
INDIA IN A DAY SET TO RELEASE
In a country captivated with cinema, India In A Day directed by Richie Mehta and filmed by Indians across the country reached a larger audience with its release on September 23, 2016 in Delhi, Mumbai and Bangalore. Born out of a unique partnership between Ridley Scott’s Scott Free Films UK and Google,the film is crowd sourced, 90-minute feature-length documentary shot on a single day – October 10, 2015. Enlisted to capture a moment of the day on camera, thousands responded by submitting more than 16,000 videos, comprised of over 365 hours of personal and honest moments . The footage submitted by participants was uploaded on a website set up by Scott Free Films and Google. This marks the first ever India film where footage has come from all over India; from Rajasthan to Kerala to the far-reaching Andaman and Nicobar Islands. The film, India’s largest crowd sourced documentary, offers a remarkable insight into the lives, loves, fears and hopes of people living in India today. Richie Mehta reached out to Anurag Kashyap to help spread the word about the film as widely as possible. Zoya Akhtar, R. Balki and Shekhar Kapur supported the project with call out videos and by spreading the word through social media.

Producers Mahesh Sharma and Vishnu Sharma will begin the 5-day second shooting stint for Rama Dhanraj Film Productions’ Keep Safe Distance on 25th Sept. at various bungalows in Mumbai. Director Raama Mehra will be filming many crucial scenes on new find hero Jai Yadav and Karishma Kuril who are in romantic leads along with Kiran Kumar, Shahbaaz Khan, Mushtaq Khan, Pradeep Kabra and others. Also in the cast are new finds Sanjana Singh, Kritika Mathur and Lucy Jha. Two songs of the film have been already recorded earlier by Music Director Damodar Rao.
DARKHAAST REVEALS THE REAL INTIMACY BETWEEN THE LEAD PAIR OF SHIVAAY
Darkhaast, the romantic track from Shivaay starring Ajay Devgn and Erika Kaar has passion and poignance in equal measure. Shot exquisitely against the Himalayan landscape, the song dwells on intimate moments between the film’s lead couple, who are madly in love. While the magic of the song unfolded when it broke online on September 22 at 12 noon, lyricist Sayyeed Qaudri and music composer Mithoon had a tough task working on it. Ajay in his instruction to his music team was clear that each word had to be carefully chosen because Darkhaast isn’t just a song in the film, but a track that captures the emotions and situation in which the couple are. It’s a crucial part of the narrative because it takes the story forward in rhyme. The actor-filmmaker graciously admits that Sayyeed and Mithoon are also the storytellers of the film because of their close participation in this composition.

The muhurat of Jodidaar Films & TV Productions presentation Sarkaar Hazir Ho was held on 18th Sept. at Basra Studio followed by 10 days shooting schedule. The shooting took place at Basra Studio and Essel Studio. Pandit Pradeep Vyas is the writer, producer and director of the film and it stars Manoj Malhotra, Karishma Kanwar, Amit Kumar, Aarti Joshi,Hemant Sharma and Prithvi Zutsi. The 14th edition of the Bollywood film festival opened with a great fanfare at the Lørenskog hus kino in the presence of eminent personalities from Norway like Mayor of Lørenskog Ragnhild Bergheim, secretary of the State Bård Folke Fredriksen, Himanshu Gulati and Indian Bureaucracy and stars from the Bollywood and Iranian Film Industry. Amongst the highlights of this year were the presence of yesteryear Actress Zeenat Aman and upcoming actress Huma Qureshi as the guest of honour. Zeenat Aman was awarded for her lifetime contribution to Indian cinema. And her contributions to the cinematic world were also acknowledged in the form of a special stamp that was released on this occasion by the festival help from Postal Department. Huma Qureshi was awarded as the most promising upcoming Bollywood actress. Also present at the festival was the upcoming director Azaan Khan showcasing his first film ‘Bankster’ as opening film of the festival along with the lead cast of the film. The film captured the opening screen at the festival. Azaan Khan was also awarded theVikas Mohan Award for most promising upcoming director.
