The story of the film deals with a simple middle class mother from a small town in Maharashtra who like any other middle class mother has worked hard to bring up her smart son who has gone to the US and turned out to be a successful industrialist. He son calls his mother to the US to spend a few months with him and his wife but unfortunately the poor mom  is unable to cope up with the fast and modern lifestyle of the US, which leads to a lot of friction between her and her daughter in law . Cross-cultural differences have been explored in what one could call an NRI film, which reminds you of English Winglish. It is the first in Marathi to have been shot in America.

The actress-producer of the film deserves kudos for trying honestly to make a clean and healthy family fare. Dr Meena Nerurkar rises above her role with her earnest performance though at times she does resort to over acting. Sai Gundewar is sincere in his attempt to play the dutiful son in law who is torn between his mother and his wife. Though at times the film is very predictable, it entertains you as well as makes you cringe at times.

On the whole, it is an heartwarming film which you should not miss though Vikram Gokhale and Vijay Kadam are the only stars in the film.
