Riders of two wheelers beware it has been announced that from 1 August  2016 ,  No Helmet No Petrol for Motorcyclists at the petrol pumps in Mumbai .

“Wearing helmets is mandatory” Milind Bharambe , Joint commissioner (traffic) said we will post constables at the petrol pumps , initially their duty will be to explain to people the need for wearing a helmet , thereafter the repeat offenders will be fined .

Ravi Shinde of the petrol dealers’ associations said , the  constables will be posted at all our petrol pumps and the campaign will start from 8 am till 8 pm,
