It is surprising that even after such a big incident on 5th July , Tuesday morning at  6 am , none of the society members have lodged any complaint however ,  a doctor was called to examine the family which includes husband , wife and son who had fallen to the first floor when the flooring came crashing down from the 2nd floor  , the husband and  the Son had injuries on their legs but the wife ,who was pregnant got injuries on her back . Incidentally there was no major fatality.

The doctor was the first person to arrive at the site of  the mishap , the doctor clicked few pictures on the spot with his mobile and forwarded the same to police and the fire brigade , after which the MBMC  team also came and many more various departments team also visited the site , they all took the pictures made report and told the Society members to get the repairs done immediately and also ensure no damage is caused to other flats next door .

After which the society members called a meeting and finalized to get the repairing work done as early as possible . Further the Matru Chhaya building was constructed more than two decades ago , due to leakage problems repair work of the outside structure also took place sometime back .

There are three ladies staying in the first floor flat , It is said that a fortnight ago a part of the first floor ceiling slab in the living room area had fallen down in which one of the woman was also injured , after this the families on both the floors were advised by the society members not to use this part of the flat . As there were two families staying in the second floor flat , one of the brother’s family use to sleep in the living room area which came crashing down on Tuesday .
