Prawns Tandoori Fry

I am not much of a of Sea food lover, but have always been passionate about preparing it for my loved ones. After years of struggle, I finally got the best combination of ingredients and was able to create this dish. Prawns Tandoori Fry is a modified version of prawns fry, with simple ingredients. It will surely excite your taste buds and make any occasion special……

Prawns Tandoori FryIngredients:

  • Prawns large –½ Kilogram (cleaned, washed and drained)
  • Ginger Garlic paste – 1 and ½ tablespoons
  • Oil – 2 tablespoons
  • Salt- As per taste
  • Red Chili Powder – 2 teaspoons
  • Garam masala Powder- ½ teaspoon
  • Lemon juice – 1 teaspoon
  • Hot chili garlic sauce – 1 teaspoonful
  • Corn flour – 1 tablespoon
  • Red food colour – few drops
  • Coriander leaves/Cilantro – for garnish

Method:

Marinate the prawns with all the said ingredients and set aside in the refrigerator for an hour.

Heat oil in a wide pan. Lower the flame and add the marinated prawns in portions. Give a stir so that the prawns are well coated with oil. Cover with a lid and cook for 10-12 minutes on medium low heat. Give a stir once in between. When the prawns become tender and are cooked well, increase the flame and let the liquid dry until you get your desired consistency. Garnish with coriander leaves and serve hot.
